We expect a lot of traffic problems in the area of Holmenkollen in the period: 23 February to 6 March, we’ve chosen not to run our tours up to Holmenkollen during this time. It will be too hard to predict the time it takes to get to and from this area, and the buses can get stuck for long periods of time.
HMK is taking the next step to help the environment and have now started to fuel all its buses with a new environmental friendly fuel.
"HMK Class, which is our slogan, also means that we should be "Best in Class" in every aspect of our business, which also applies to the environmental side effects of running a coach company. We are therefore willing to accept a somewhat higher cost for the benefit of the environment from this new fuel (GTL). This will however, not be charged to our customers”, says Managing Director, Mr. Ola Halvorsen at HMK. "We are betting big and have installed separate tanks for the filling of GTL fuel. Also our subsidiary, Bislet limousine, will use the new fuel ".
